As you plan your TechEd Vegas schedule, I hope you will consider coming to the Data Migration Customer Feedback session scheduled on Wednesday from 1-3 PM (strategy session 19). The TechEd website has the information links for the session and the My Agenda feature is used to enroll. Most of the two hours should be spent listening to your experiences with data migration. We will provide a brief overview of the solution and the roadmap. At TechEd you can also attend session EIM104, hands-on session EIM164, or attend ASUG session EIM206 by General Mills on Data Services for data migration. There will also be a pod avaialble for data migration discussions and demos.
In the customer feedback session our major goal is to listen to your experiences to learn how we can improve our offering to better meet your needs. Here are some of the things I hope to learn in the feedback session:
- Information on your recent data migration projects
- Learn about the tools, methodologies, migration content you used for the project
- Learn about the role of data cleansing/quality in the project
- Learn about what went well, what you would change
- Listen to what you need from SAP for future data migration projects
