360 Degree View for SAP Customers on the SAP EcoHub – Welcome Service Partners!

Since November 2008, the SAP EcoHub has been a vibrant software solution marketplace where over 1M visitors have come to discover, evaluate and buy from over 600 SAP and SAP partner solution storefronts.  As we head into SAP TechEd 2010, I’m proud to announce that we have now have a whole new storefront designed for you to discover, evaluate and engage a whole new class of offerings – SAP service partner offerings.  SAP customers now have a complete 360 degree view of the SAP Ecosystem – from the software solutions that compliment SAP’s expansive enterprise offerings to the services partners that provide world class assistance in developing strategy and  implementing software to help you solve your business needs with these solutions…all on SAP’s Enterprise Marketplace – SAP EcoHub!.

We’ve been working hard to take the SAP EcoHub to the next level with this new capability based on your feedback.  Following is a short summary of what you’ll now find on the SAP EcoHub related to SAP Service Partner storefronts.


  • Service Partner Overview Storefront – SAP Service Partners will have the ability to create a partner overview storefront which will give you the ability to understand what services a partner specializes in and how they differentiate themselves in the marketplace including highlights of special skills, geographic focus, # of certified consultants, onshore/offshore capabilities, and focus in large, medium and small enterprises.
  • Service Partner Services Storefronts – SAP Service Partners will be able to create specific service offering storefronts that will be linked to their main partner storefront. Here you will be able to find the specific services designed for the SAP customer trying to discover and evaluate for a specific business need (i.e Rapid Deployment Services for SAP Customer Relationship Management). These storefronts will help you evaluate the expertise of the partner through customer success stories, community ratings and reviews, specific industry and line of business details and more.
  • Solutions Related to Services – Customers will now have the ability to view these services with the related SAP and SAP Solution Partner solutions that are implemented to solve a particular business need. The related solutions will provide you information on complimentary solutions to the service listed and a link to the solution storefront that will give you the in-depth details on the solution of choice. This gives you the complete 360 degree view for everything you’ll need for your business to utilize these offerings for your strategic advantage!

Social Commerce in the enterprise has clearly taken off.  The number of SAP customers utilizing the SAP EcoHub for solution evaluation, discovery and purchase continues to grow exponentially.  With the exciting introduction of Service Partner Storefronts on the SAP EcoHub we are opening up a whole new world for you to complete your discovery, evaluation and engagement needs for the services required for these solutions.   Supporting this social commerce has become a main priority for the SAP EcoHub team and we hope you find these new capabilities a welcome addition to our marketplace.
