Are you interested in the integration of ECM services into your SAP business applications and planning to visit SAP TechEd? Then you might be interested in the following hands-on session, which is offered in Berlin as well as in Las Vegas:

EIM166: Leveraging ECM Services Within Business Applications on SAP NetWeaver CE
The ECM integration layer of SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment allows you to integrate ECM services into your business applications and provides document management services for SAP NetWeaver BPM. Furthermore, it enables out-of-the-box connectivity to 3rd party ECM systems via the emerging open standard CMIS (OASIS). This session will introduce you to the concept and capabilities of the ECM integration layer and allow you to model your own content-rich business processes using the SAP NetWeaver BPM and ECM integration layer.

You will not only get familiar with the ECM integration concepts of the SAP NetWeaver platform and the corresponding APIs, but also have the chance to try out your learnings with a SAP NetWeaver Java system guided by several, well documented exercises. In addition, you’ll have the chance to meet the experts in person: The architect as well as the product owner of the ECM integration layer will be present and glad to take your feedback and answer your questions.

      Hi Alex,

glad to hear that you’ll be in Berlin. Yes, the exercises as well as the systems used during the hands-on session will be based on NW 7.3 Java which includes/corresponds to the CE 7.3 beta delivery.

      Best regards,
      Christopher
