I’m at the Nairobi (Kenya) airport writing this month’s Letter from the Editor. Before I provide further details about the program, I want to highlight new content in this month’s newsletter. Firstly, you’ll note that we have quite a few more Dear aBI columns, offering advice on …. The speed at which this column has taken off shows how much knowledge there is and how eager experts are willing to share it. Be sure to submit your questions to the wiki.
Secondly, my SAP BusinessObjects Community colleague Jason Cao and I did a podcast with Jon Reed about recent developments in the community and our ideas for taking it to a new level. Have a listen and let us know what you think – is this the right direction or is there a different one we need to take? A transcript of the podcast is also available.
Finally, we’re hosting an New! SAP Inside Track Vancouver 2010 on September 15th. The theme of the event is “A Celebration of Local Actions with Global Impact”. If you’re in town, sign up to attend to learn about 1) how local organizations are applying SAP technology to improve their business performance and customer satisfaction, 2) new and upcoming technology and services developed at SAP Labs, and 3)Vancouver SAP BusinessObjects solutions we can see in action (or maybe even test-drive).
If you want to learn more about what happened in the Social Entrepreneurship 101: 2010 program, read more in my recap.
