Started from Golf Outing and Tour of Nike Facilities in the afternoon of August 3, followed by Welcome Reception in the evening, the first ever ASUG Business One Summit had been completed by two full day lectures and meetings during August 4 to 5.

“A Bright New Day for SAP Business One” is the Keynote by Fritz Neumeyer, Sr. Vice President and COO, SME Line of Business of SAP. It gives all attendants a fresh starting. He has explained why the SME market is critical for SAP, and about SAP’s strategy for the SME market. He also shared which trends SAP envisions to become more and more relevant for smaller and mid-sized enterprises, and provide an outlook on how SAP Business One will address these trends.

The summit has about 200 participants.  Thanks for the organizer Carl Lewis, Program Chair for ASUG’s SAP Business One SIG from Vision 33, ASUG Pacific Northwest Chapter and Nike.  Without their efforts and supports, this summit may not be this successful.

There are dozens of SAP partners showed their products and solutions to enhance SAP Business One’s functionality.  There are more than 20 lectures by SAP, partners or customers to cover many subjects related to SAP Business One solutions.

I am glad to have the opportunity to be there to know more friends not only from North America but also from all over world including New  Zealand and Europe.

Thanks for meeting my friend ZAL.  He gave me great supports. Here is his blog on the same event: ASUG SAP Business One Summit – Just One Person’s Impressions

The close remark by Carl would be a good conclusion: Making Big Ones out of Little Ones. We expect the next summit will be soon.

This was probably one of the most positive and inspiring business events I’ve ever attended.

With around 30,000 installed sites, Business One has a strong & loyal community. There are so many high quality vertical solutions based on the Business One platform. This is the sort of event where you get to see them first hand and talk directly with the product experts.

My recommendation to everyone that is serious about SAP Business One; attend the next ASUG Business One Summit.

My thanks to Carl Lewis of Vision-33 (who made this event happen), Nike (for the use of their very impressive facilities) and ASUG for extending their reach to SAP Business One.
