15 July 2010 Postal Bulletin

Today’s PB does not appear to have anything that directly affects Presort.

There are a couple of DMM revisions today that may affect mailers, even though it appears they shouldn’t affect the Presort software. One is about expanded options for attachments to letter and flats.  The USPS has removed the restriction that requires relocate-able labels to be affixed on the outside of a reply mail piece. Be sure to take a look if you might be affected.Another revision provides greater flexibility of Detached Address Labels for Merchandise Samples.

The rest of the bulletin is pretty typical, with minor PO changes, overseas military mail, etc.
