You bought SAP; now it’s time to learn how to optimize it by going to TechED!  Start by looking at the great ASUG customer sessions at TechED.

While I was at SAP Inside Track Newtown Square a few weeks ago, a fellow attendee told me how much he enjoyed attending customer sessions at TechED.  He said he “enjoyed hearing about customer innovations”.  He mentioned the title of the presentation and the speaker’s name – this is 9 months later and this person remembers the presentation name and speaker.  That is the quality of sessions we strive for on the ASUG TechED Design team.

Here are some of the sessions I am personally looking forward to seeing:

Value-Based Management: An SAP Framework for Creating, Realizing, and Measuring Value  – BPM Curriculum Rollout announcement

Additionally I am excited about the SAP Mentor Initiative ASUG sessions – the following are just a handful:

But don’t just take my word for it; listen to what fellow ASUG volunteer Manju Venkataseshan of Stanley Black and Decker says regarding why you should attend SAP TechED:

Don’t forget to check out the ASUG Pre Conference Sessions @ TechED as well.

I hope you will join me at TechED.

I was a bit disappointed with TechEd USA last 2 years, because in the area of BI those events were primarily marketing vehicle for BO. But looking at this year’s published sessions I expect lots of really great content and interesting technical discussions.
