SAP's global data center in St. Leon-Rot has been certified as highly energy efficient by the TÜV Rheinland, setting new standards for the certificate. The data center saved in 2009 roughly 55 million kilowatt hours / 14,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions, thanks to the use of advanced technologies.
