Breakfast With Marge Breya at SapphireNow

My “Day Two” at Sapphire began at bright and early at 7:00am with an invitation to “the 2nd annual Women’s Executive Leadership Breakfast offering a unique opportunity to leverage the combined power of women among an elite group of leading cross-industry business executives” and also began by my extending an invitation to the newest SAP Mentorette, Mico Yuk to join me there.

The guest speaker was Jeanne Ross: Director and Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Sloan School’s Center for Information Systems Research. Her bio profile reads: “Ms. Ross lectures and conducts research on IT management practices and organizational and performance implications of enterprise initiatives related to enterprise architecture, IT governance, outsourcing, and business agility. Her work has appeared in major practitioner and academic journals, including Sloan Management Review, Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, MISQ Executive, MIS Quarterly, the Journal of Management Information Systems, IBM Systems Journal, and CIO Magazine.”

Fellow mentorette SAP Education:  From Evolution to Revolution posted more about this in her own blog of the 2nd day at Sapphire: The specified item was not found.

I, for my part, uploaded a brief clip of Marge Breya, executive vice president and general manager of the Solutions Group at SAP AG, welcoming the participants and introducing Jeanne Ross.

I’m still glowing from my Launching the 2010 Ada Lovelace Day SCN Heroine Series by the way.

All the rest of our mentor colleagues were treated to a session with Marge later at 3:00 PM and  were also privy to some interesting and open glimpses of where SAP is headed.
