SAP Management Console (MMC) is a useful tool in windows system, to start and stop SAP, monitor the processes.

But sometimes SAP MMC went down and I tried to fix it. I'm sharing my experience with you.

1.         If system is missing in SAP MMC, you can try to add the system again.

2.         Check the SAP Service (like SAPBW0_02, SAPBW0_03 ) is running. If the services were not running, system will not display right in SAP MMC.

a)     IF not, try to start the service.

b)     IF the service cannot startup, check the program sapstartsrv.exe.

c)     In fact, you can use command startsapto start the SAP instances. If the system failed to startup, the problem should not be SAP MMC.

3.         The other reasons may be:

a)     Check whether the windows system updates recently. If yes, remove all the update programs.

b)     Check whether the profile is ALL right.

4.         How to use sapstartsrv.

a)     Uninstall Service and Unregister COM Interface.

b)     Install Service and Register COM Interface and Start Service.

In short, the problem of SAP MMC mostly is system problem.
