The impact of master data quality on an enterprise’s overall performance has been stated repeatedly (for example, see the current Enterprise Master Data Management). Now, an SAP white paper provides a comprehensive picture about business process management and master data management interacting in heterogeneous cross-system environments. The paper illustrates the interlinkages between master data and business process execution in general while showing how Business Process Management can be leveraged as an orchestration layer in conjunction with MDM to facilitate validated master data across multiple systems.

Now I stop writing to give you more time for reading….

    Hello Markus

Every customer expects master data must be sync with across all systems. SAP has to guide all customers on master data sysnchronisation and associated transactional data required changes.
Master data are very important for every business . some SAP guidlines are missing from SAP and How Business has to maintain and sync the data all across the system and SAP has to screen all existing master causing any damage to business.Customers expects more Monitoring /maintainance of master data more guidence are expected from SAP . SAP has a perfect technology layer for setting up manifold MDM scenarios. For example, by combining SAP NetWeaver MDM with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services and/or SAP NetWeaver BPM, you have versatile and flexible possibilities for setting up data stewardship and data goverance. See for example, the Enterprise Master Data Management.
