As we know, SAP Netweaver Business Client (NWBC) release 3.0 has been officially released since some months and is going to being used more and more.
NWBC represents the menu navigation within its shell in a new powerful way reading Portal or ABAP roles.
I was a bit surprised that Session Manager (our dear old SAP Enjoy Menu or SAP Easy Access) has been completely disabled probably due to better User Experience (UX) and performances.
To save time, a lot customers never adopted user specific menu and delivered standard Session Manager (SAP Enjoy Menu or SAP Easy Access) to their even huge installed base.
That's why I hacked a bit the standard to resume Session Manager.
How to active it
Perform a very small modification to
ABAP LSMTR_NAVIGATIONF17
at FORM HELP_FORM_CHECK_EXIT.
You could evaluate some very smart code
"if 1 = 2." instead of "if sy-uname = 'FERRARI'. else."
The result
