I started another basis day with users complaining about system performance.
What’s wrong in the system? In SM50, looks like all the processes are occupied by TRFC/QRFC tasks.
It was an unusual situation. Out of 14 dialog processes 11 were occupied by TRFC/QRFC tasks.
What’s wrong in the system? Why TRFC/QRFC tasks are taking 11 dialog processes?
Very quickly I realized a silly mistake which even an experienced basis consultants can make.
In QOUT scheduler RFC load balancing group "DEFAULT" has been assigned.
I oversight the quota parameters while creating a group in RZ12 and forgot to change the value of “Max Number of WPs Used %”.
My system was using 11 dialog processes for TRFC/QRFC tasks because of the above setting.
Total available dialog work process for TRFC/QRFC came down as soon as I reduced the “Max Number of WPs Used (%)”
