Over the past couple of years, I have done a lot of work with SAP NetWeaver Identity Management. One of the areas I have concentrated on is the approval workflow process. In SAP NetWeaver Identity Management 7.1 a new attribute called the Pending Value Object was introduced that helps make the approval workflow process very flexible -- from simple manager approvals to multiple approvals based upon virtually any attribute.
