Enhancement packages are optional packages that enable companies to easily take advantage of SAP’s ongoing innovations. Customers can deploy the enhancements in a modular fashion by activating only the new features and technical improvements they want to add the most value to their business. Already almost 8000 productive customers enjoy the benefits of the enhancement package concept.

Now we offer a new service in order to simplify the discovery of new functionality: Business Function Prediction for SAP ERP provides a tailored recommendation of which business functions delivered by SAP enhancement packages are relevant for customers’ businesses. SAP customers and partners now have the chance to request this brand-new service supporting the implementation of SAP enhancement packages for SAP ERP 6.0 free of charge.

With Business Function Prediction for SAP ERP, relevant functionality in enhancement packages for the 6.0 version of the SAP ERP application can be identified based on your customers’ existing system usage. This is a great idea Christian.
Understanding the value of the functionalities delivered in each EhP is the starting point to keep customers’ Landscapes aligned with the maintenance cycles and it’s also one of the best way to explain the maintenance fee.

I think this is a good opportunity for SAP to share tools and methodologies to perform the analysis/prediction with the SDN Community.

I understand that your efforts have to be compensated but probably it is also better to help as much as possible customers to get the best from SAP ECC standard functionalities.
