Below you will see how it is possible for partners to use their existing S-User-ID to register and log-on to the SAP Community Network (SCN).  This allows a partner to participate in SCN and utilize its value while maintaining only one S-User-ID and password across SAP’s portals.

Partners can also apply for a SAP Passport to receive Single Sign-On (SSO) privileges across SAP’s portals. For step-by-step instructions on how to apply for a SAP Passport using a S-User-ID and password, please read: SAP Passport Allows Single Sign-On for Partners Across SAP’s Portals


To start the process of registering for SCN using your S-User-ID and password:

Go to: Click on Register.



Select the SAP Partner/SAP Customer radio button and fill in your S-userID and password. Then select Read and accept to review and accept the Terms of Use.



Based on your S-UserID, the system will fill in your information automatically. Select Register and your registration will be complete.



You should see a thank you message to confirm registration.



You should receive an email confirming your registration and providing you important information about activating your account, updating your profile, and accessing the SAP Community Network. You must first select the activation url provided to complete the process.



Fill in the requested information and then submit.



You can now start to use the SAP Community Network.



Next time you log-on, you can use your S-UserID and S-User password to log into SCN.
