SAP BusinessObjects Explorer on iPhone

The SAP BusinessObjects Explorer on iPhone prototype is now available for download on the Apple Store:

“Your business at your fingertips”

We already have great quotes from customers who already used the prototype :

“Wow….this is AMAZING.  It’s really going to be a shockwave through the entire BI community (BI Shockwave – that could be a cool name).”
David Theroux-Benoni·

“I’m really really surprised and I love it” / “We tried SAP BusinessObjects Explorer as a prototype. It became quickly possible to retrieve data from existing internal systems in our cloud through Explorer’s open data interfaces, and also running iPhone prototype app from SAP. It is now easy to search and analyze from an iPhone anywhere.”
Amane Kito, Corporate Officer, IS & Cloud Service·

“Share your findings via Email is damned cool” / “Can get more than Expected” / “Cool to get all this information in this tiny space”
Richard Knepper and Team

  • Interesting, the only small issue is that link you provided is in German. Is it your answer to Americans who never provide US country code (+1) in their phone numbers and who think that DC is the capital of the world? 😉

More seriously, what is the role of SAP’s “Center of Excellence for Business Intelligence”? Is it same as BObj Lab? Would be interesting to know – may be topic for a separate blog?

    Thank you,

    • thanks for the hint.
in the meantime in figured out on how to get an US link within itunes (configured for Germany)

I added it to the post

  • Can you put a link for Australia Itune store so I can download it and test it out?

I am researching Mobile BI applications and found ROAMBI and that looks good but then heard about your own and can’t download it as not available in Australia Istore!

  • Is it us or does everybody else have the same problem
Where is the text search button in the ipad download for SBOE with the cloud offering?
