As my colleague Jason Cao mentioned in My small part in the 2010 Winter Olympics yesterday, SAP Labs Canada has a large office in Vancouver that houses more than 1,100 employees.
It’s located in the city’s Yaletown district, which is central to many of the activities that are happening during the winter games.
It’s so central, in fact, we were able to step outside our front entrance on Friday afternoon and watch the torch relay pass by on its final leg before the opening ceremonies that night.
I shot the video that follows with a compact camera, so it’s a bit shaky, but it gives you a feel for the neighborhood that lies just outside the office doors and the excitement and crowds that the relay attracted.
