Embedded Sub-Process is a compound activity that is defined as a flow of other activities

  • Dependent on parent process therefore cannot be executed by itself
  • Contains a local process context that is not visible to parent process
  • The parent process context is visible from within the Sub-Process
  • Cannot define users, roles, lanes or pools
  • No input and output mapping required

Referenced Sub-Process is an activity in the parent process that represents another independent process

  • When the process flow reaches the sub-process, the independent process is called
  • The parent process and the sub-process communicate through input and output mappings
  • Referenced sub-processes are synchronous and the start/end event contain the same trigger
  • Development Component dependencies are required to access sub-process projects

    Hi,

How are attachments handled in referenced sub-processes? Are attachments which ase added in a task of the parent process accessible in the sub-process?

    Best regards,
    Kevin
