Let’s Exchange Business Cards….
Notice anything different on SCN?
The new and improved SCN Business Card was launched yesterday. It was designed to look like…. an actual Business Card!
The Business Card is your place to tell all other SAP Community members who you are, what are you interested in, what is your expertise, what have you done lately on the different communities and who are your favorite members.
It is an excellent tool for you to stay connected with other community members.
With the new design, we hope you take full advantage of what the Business Card has to offer you.
Unlike the previous Business Card, you can edit the new Business Card straight from the display page. Also, you see right away how other community members see your Business Card. You can also link to your LinkedIn account in your Business Card.
Want to link to your SCN Business Card from other sites / personal blogs/ etc.? No Problem! At the bottom of the Business Card you will find a link you can embed on any other page to display your SCN Business Card.
You can find the new Business Card under “My Profile” -> “Update Profile” area on the SCN pages headers. Notice there are three different tabs to your Business Card.
Go visit your Business Card, update it and…let’s stay connected!
We are constantly working on improving the experience for our members.... Happy to see you like the changes.

another issue with the Favourites is that the layout breaks when you have many Favourites. Just have a look at my Business Card.

1/ It does not fit into screen, e.g. when you click on "Business Card" on someone's blog. Same when you open in new window - window is still sized for old business card format.
2/ Open e-mails. How are they protected from automated collection to be used for spamming?
3/ Now we have business card, personal wiki-page, short bio on blog pages. What are ideas to unify all of those?
4/ I do not see my linkedIn populated automatically, although I am using SCN on my LinkedIn page. Does this integration work only one way?
5/ I think country's flag is really nice, but it should be listed in address information as well.
6/ Would be nice to have "Favorite member for:" along with existing "My favorite members".
Thank you for making SCN great community place!

Thanks for the feedback! I am happy you like the direction we are taking.
Yes, I agree - there are still improvement areas which we are looking into.
Specifically about the LinkedIn question you had - the integration indeed is not bi-directional yet. You need to manually populate your LinkedIn account in your SCN BC.
As for the open emails - yes they are protected from AUTOMATED collection (but not manual ones, like any other community....). You can choose to hide your email address if you wish.
Thanks for all the additional ideas - will look into that!

I very much like the SDN pages and agree with the first comment posted above (good points). I would like to know if there is or maybe if there will be any page like a "simple-bugzilla" but to collect users wishes how to develop SDN forums and what we - users - would like to use/ change etc. (because there are no bugs here:))))
I would like to have only a simple table with a table like: who (and when?) proposed a new feature, text of the proposal and some reaction from some authority like "approved, in development" or "needs discussion" or "rejected and why" etc.
Thanky ou for this great SDN!! Regards, Otto
Interesting idea! there are some ways today to already do what you are requesting actually - whether via the forums, blogs or wiki.
But I agree there is no one central place today.
Does sound like something more appropriate for the wiki then anything else...
You definitely provided some food for thought here!
Thanks
