Changes to USPS Hardcopy Postage Statement Processing

Starting March 15, 2010 the USPS is streamlining their hardcopy postage statement processing. What does this mean to you? If your Postal Acceptance facility is equipped with a PostalOne! system and you bring paper postage statements, the USPS will not fill out the USPS section of the form or the round-date document. While you can still submit hard copy statements, in order to receive your receipt you will need to visit Business Customer Gateway.

The USPS is encouraging you to use one of these three methods to submit postage statements electronically:

For Postal Acceptance facilities with NO PostalOne! system there will be no changes in the processing. New Postage statements will have a new section which will say USPS use only – To be completed in non-PostalOne! sites
