With SAP’s recent announcement of a new global tiered support programme your customers now have a choice in support offerings for SAP BusinessObjects Solutions: SAP Enterprise Support services or the SAP Standard Support option. And, SAP is further evaluating additional changes to our support portfolio for later in 2010. Such additions could include partner certifications and an option which would allow you to have SAP deliver support directly to end customers.

Now that your customers have more choice in support offerings, it’s more important than ever that you, as our valued channel partners, understand the value that SAP Enterprise Support delivers. Whilst I acknowledge that supporting SAP BusinessObjects solutions is quite different than supporting ERP solutions it appears that the advantages provided by Solution Manager, such as the ability to provide round-the-clock support to hundreds of customers simultaneously with better and faster message processing, would be of great value to SAP BusinessObjects partners.
