In this SCN blog, I would like to share an opportunity for ASUG members to attend a webcast about "Always Connected Mobile Key Values" related to SAP Netweaver Mobile. Though we wanted to run this 3 part Mobile webcast series back to back every week middle of this year, but that did not happen due to several reasons - including overlapping of content with topics in 2009 ASUG Annual conference and 2009 ASUG Virtual Summit. The first part was hosted by ASUG Mobile Technologies SIG on April 24th 2009. Please click here to see the details in my earlier blog. Finally, we are hosting the second part of the 3 part webcast series. Jim (my colleague, an SAP Mentor and an ASUG volunteer), Stefan (Product Manager in SAP Netweaver Solution Management, SAP AG) and I were discussing about the webcast ideas and topics several months ago just before going to the 2009 ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando. Finally we had narrowed it down to a few topics. Obviously, the topic in this webcast are among the few we had discussed and also expressed by survey responders that Jim and I did few months ago. Thanks Sami (from SAP AG) for graciously accepting to present this topic.

Please join us in this " Always Connected Mobile Key Values" webcast on 7th December 2009 from 12PM - 1PM US EST. Please click here to register for the event.

This Webcast will give an overview of the benefits of using Always Connected Clients in SAP Netweaver Mobile.

Key learnings of Always Connected:

1. Mobilize business quickly, taking advantage of existing IT infrastructure and extending your tried-and-true business processes.
2. Develop applications within the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio using a model driven approach to minimize manual UI coding.
3. Connect peripheral devices to speed up input of data.

This Webcast is suitable for Mobile beginners as well as for experienced Mobile Infrastructure experts who want to know how to leverage Always Connected Clients within SAP Enterprise Systems.

Speaker: Sami Lechner,
SAP NetWeaver Solution Management, SAP AG
