• Forums In late July, the SAP Business One Community has epxanded by three new Forums to clean the main forum, which now has been renamed to SAP Business One Core Forum to really focus only on core functionality.
  
  The three new forums are:
  • SAP Add-Ons
    This forum deals with the following SAP Add-ons: Fixed Assets, Elster, Datev, Copy Express, DTW, Intrastat, Microsoft Outlook Integration, Format Definition, Bank Transaction Handling Facility, Payment Engine and Payment Engine - Cash & Bank.
  • System Administration
    This forum is designed to help administrators working with SAP Business One on matters related to installation, administration and ongoing maintenance of your system and customer environment. Please post all your technical questions here.
  • SAP Business One Application
    This forum provides a channel where questions regarding the SAP Business One training can be posted and answered. The training community and content developers will moderate this forum and will help to answer your questions. The information from this forum will be used as an input for possible improvements to training materials.
The Spanish SAP Business One forum has reached 100,000 views, which is a great success for the 1.5 years old forum.

  • 17 Blogs were written in the Q3/ 2009; one of the most viewed blogs is the blog about the remote support platform for SAP Business One, with more than 2700 Views.

  Looking at this 2^nd chart, you might wonder why the B1 Core Forum has a negative thread count. The SAP Global Support Center, which takes part in moderating the forum, has moved many SAP Business One threads in Q3 to the Reporting & Printing or SAP Add-Ons or Administration Forum. This also led to the negative number of messages in the same forum (see also chart below).

  Hello and welcome Thanga,

  Congratulations  on your great work around contributing to the SAP Business One Community in the third quarter of 2009.

  Could you tell us some details about yourself  and your company?

  I am SAP B1 Consultant working for Emergys Software Private Limited, a subsidy of Emergys Corp, US. Emergys is a Business Transformation consulting firm focused on helping its partners and clients design and implement strategies that utilize the emerging technologies with a culture of serving its customers best interests.

  What is the main business of your company?

  Emergys primarily focuses on implementing ERP Solutions with SAP A1 and SAP B1. Apart from ERP, we are also into Health Care, E-Governance, Custom Application Development and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

  What role does SAP Business One play in your company?

  SAP Business One plays a vital role in our Business. Emergys focuses heavily on SAP Business One in terms of Implementation, Support and Maintenance.

  What does a typical work day look like for you? How does the SAP Community Network support you in your work?

  My typical work in a day involves in requirement gathering, Blue printing, Configuring & Customizing SAP B1, Writing queries and reports as per needs of customers.

  Do you have insight into how others in your company leverage the SAP Community Network?

  All my colleagues at Emergys use SDN as an effective tool to clarify their Consulting and technical issues. They also contribute significantly by answering to the questions posted by others partners/ customers in SDN forum

  Do you want to share with us some achievements of your company? 

  Emergys is a Gold Partner for SAP A1 in US and a active channel partner for SAP A1 and SAP B1 in India. We are also rated No. 01 in the SDN Network for SAP B1.  We are present at five geographies – US, India, China , Mexico and Canada.
  In India we are spread across at Chennai, Coimbatore, Mysore, Pune and Delhi.
