The SAP TechEd 09 is approaching, and again the list with lectures, hands-on session and expert sessions is huge. I have some good news for you if you are looking for some sessions about Lifecycle Management of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java. You are already pretty close to find some of them. As a chance would have it, I am a speaker for some of this sessions mentioned above. Let me show you in which sessions you can see me at TechEd 09 Vienna.

Live Expert Sessions in the Community Clubhouse Expert Networking Lounge

I am a member of the SAP Intelligence Platform and NetWeaver Regional Implementation Group (IPNW RIG), and at this year's TechEd we will be present in the Community Clubhouse Expert Networking Lounge where you can meet us and have a discussion with us about various topics. These sessions are 30-minute face-to-face intimate sessions with a limited number of seats. So make sure to reserve your seat as soon as possible because it is on a first-come first-served basis.

You can see me in this Live Expert Sessions:

EXP78: Do you know how your portal is used?  Access Statistics with SAP Solution Manager
(Tuesday 4pm)

EXP62: Do you run Business Critical Applications? Best practices for High Availability of SAP Systems
(Wednesday 1:30pm)

There are loads of other Live Expert Sessions from my colleagues. You can find the full list for Vienna here: http://www.sapteched.com/emea/activities/networkingsessions.htm

Educational Sessions

Additional to the Live Expert Sessions you can also see me in three Educational Sessions. Those are in Detail:

ALM110: Java Support Package Manager Best Practices
In this session I show you everything you need to know about the Java Support Package Manager (JSPM)which has been introduced with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 to apply support packages on deployed software components. I will cover: best practices for JSPM to get the most out of it, and everything else starting from configuration, usage, and also troubleshooting.
(Thursday 11:00 am / 1h Lecture)

UP265: Portal Usage Reporting with the Activity Data Collector
There are a couple of questions which are quite often raised whenever an SAP NetWeaver Portal environment is in place: "How many users are using the portal?" "Which is the most viewed page in the Portal?" "When is the best time for a maintenance window?" This session shows you how you can answer such questions with the help of the Activity Data Collector (ADC). You will learn how to configure the ADC service and how you can analyze the trace files generated by the ADC service by manually analyzing them or by using SAP Solution Manager diagnostics.
(Tuesday 11:00 am / 2h Hands-On)

ALM271: Technical Administration
This session will provide you with hands-on experience on the following use cases: downtime management in SAP Solution Manager and local Java administration using SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
(Thursday 5:00 pm / 2h Hands-On)

So you see, this is going to be a quite interesting TechEd 09 in Vienna.
I look forward to meet you there.
