Over the last number of years there have been huge developments in the area of CRM and e-Commerce with multiple new releases . This has resulted in an increase versions of CRM supported under the standard support contracts. At the moment supported releases range from 4.0 to 70 .

As many customer maybe going through implementation or upgrade project which will result in having more then one release of CRM in their system landscape at any one time . It has become important to update this information periodically to ensure that when an issue is raised with SAP that the System information is up to date.

To update or correct the product data, use the following link on SAP
 Service Marketplace:

 http://service.sap.com/system-data

For more information, see Note 934490 "System data displayed incorrectly
 or incompletely".

Once this information has been maintained correctly when an issue for a particular system is raised with SAP your Release information will be automatically entered in the Product and Product version field.  This should greatly reduce the processing times issue and lead to a better level of support in general.

Together customers and SAP can work together to improve the levels of support .
