Unfortunately we got off to a rocky start, the fact I’m blogging about it 20 minutes after we started should be an indicator…

Our first session (live recording linked to above),  PI – Delta Process Integration 7.1 and SOA listed as an overview of the new Features in SAP NetWeaver Process Integration 7.1 and  Service Provisioning and Consumption in ABAP and Java by Monika was well for a lack of a better word depressing. Monika for some reason was unable to attend and therefore we had no presentation…

Stay tuned though for the next session with Gregor Wolf taking place at 5:00 PM (current German time). His session deals with application testing and is listed as the SAP testing tool eCATT currently does only support SAP GUI and WebDynpro Java UI’s. The Open Source Tool Selenium can be used to test also WebDynpro ABAP and SAP CRM Web UI. Selenium allows to record a test using the Selenium IDE Add-On for Firefox. This recording can then be converted to a ABAP Unit Test. The WebAS ABAP then calls Selenium RC which an run on your local desktop machine controlling the Browser for testing.

I had always wanted to make it to the community day but this year’s initiative around virtual delivery,  is definitely awesome. As with anything new, we understand there will be roadblocks but the line up of topics you guys have come up with, I am sure this is going to be a great ride.

    Thanks for all your efforts.
