Today I attended the first Business Objects event hosted by SAP Peru. This event was aimed to Manager and IT people...no Partners or Consultant people allowed. How I get in there? Easy, SAP Peru send me and invitation because of my SAP Mentor status.

The event started with the warm welcoming of Jorge Montenegro.

Next, Gisela Villanueva told us about the six common mistakes made by companies and how to overcome them by using SAP's Business Objects.

* Assume that our clients are going to our clients forever.

* Fail to change business oportunities into profit.

* Keep errors without trying to locate them or fix it.

Among others...

Francisco Roa told us about Business Object Explorer and how we can use it to get to know the power of the Business Objects tools.

After the coffee break, Francisco Ford told us about Knowledge Accelerator, a tool used to create E-Learning courses (which remind me Learning on Demand a lot).

To finish the day, three succesful business cases were presented, showing how Business Objects had help Peruvian companies to overcome their mayor Business Intelligence problems.

It was a very good event, and I know that SAP Peru is planning to do more. Of course, I'm planning to attend them and blog about them.

By the way...sorry about the pictures...I took them with my BlackBerry and just realized that I really need some practice...
