I am so excited for SAP TechEd 2009 Phoenix from October 13th – 16th.  I have already started browsing all of the great educational sessions that will be offered (see SAP TechEd Education Sessions).  The full agenda of the conference can be found here

The conference will kick off with a SAP Executive Keynote from Vishal Sikka – SAP’s CTO.  After that, the educational sessions begin.  There will be many excellent sessions to choose from on topics ranging from Business Intelligence, Business Objects, Solution Manager and Sustainability (plus many more).  You will hear from SAP on the latest and greatest updates on their solutions.  And, don’t forget about the hands-on workshops that will be available.  All full conference registrants are able to register for two hands-on workshops.  But hold on, this year SAP is having a drawing where they will select 500 winners that will be able to register for a third hands-on session!  Whoohoo!

There will also be many ASUG sessions to choose from which provide information on how SAP Customers are using SAP Solutions today:

ASUG Sessions

There will also be ASUG Influence Sessions you can attend to find out about new Influence Councils that are starting and also update sessions where you will hear new information pertaining to active Influence Councils:

There will also be many SAP Mentors attending the various SAP TechEd’s around the globe.  What is a SAP Mentor?  SAP Mentors are individuals that have many years of SAP related experience and are passionate about sharing their knowledge with the SAP Community.

With the troubled economy, I am sure some of you need help in getting approval to attend conferences.  SAP has provided some information to help you get approval for TechEd.  Just click here for an example travel request approval document.

And, if you cannot make Phoenix, there will be more SAP TechEd Conferences in Vienna (October 27-29), Shanghai (November 11-12) and Bangalore (November 18-20).

And, if you twitter, be sure to follow @sapteched and if you tweet about the conference, reference it with hashtag #sapteched.

Hope to see you all at SAP TechEd 2009!
