Introduction

It’s high time to plan for the next European SAP Inside Track! SAP Mentor Tobias Trapp and I are planning the next SAP Inside Track in Bonn, Germany. Our beautiful little town is located by the Rhine River, allowing you to combine your professional development with an extended weekend in one of Germany’s most beautiful and inspiring regions.

Basic data

Staying true to the tradition of community-organized events, we’ll have an un-conference allowing an exchange of knowledge and ideas between SAP professionals.

As we’re still in the early planning phase, here are the main facts:

Capacity

100 people

Sessions

3 to 4 parallel tracks between 9 AM and 6 PM

Duration

1 Day (long and packed)

Evening Event

Most definitely! Details? Surprise, surprise!

Date

February/March 2010, exact day to be determined.

Costs

Non-profit, low-budget, low-cost – aiming at 20 € per person maximum

We have created the SAP Inside Track Bonn 2010 wiki page and will update it continually as more details become known. You can subscribe to the page so you will be notified of any future changes. Also, we will use the page for your registrations.

Your session contribution

Your session contribution is at the core of SAP Inside Track. So if you think about hosting a session, please let me know by submitting your session idea to the wiki page or emailing me.

It doesn’t have to be a perfectly prepared, timed-to-the-minute classroom-style PowerPoint presentation. A more open, improvisatory, collaborative, discussion-centric style is perfectly okay for this kind of community event. We can work with flip-charts, whiteboards, and live demos. You can also use free dance to convey your ideas to an audience of your peers!

After all, we’re looking for an exchange of ideas, which is most likely to take place if as many people as possible join the discussion and contribute their knowledge and experience.

Don’t hesitate – submit your session right now! You can always fine-tune and modify your session description later. We ask all contributors to blog their sessions on SCN after the event.

Opportunity for professional growth and fun

Don’t miss this great opportunity for professional growth. Expand your personal network by meeting and collaborating with the most enganged SAP professionals. Enhance your visibility and display your expertise by contributing, and profit from the expertise and knowledge of other participants by attending their great sessions and joining discussions.

Last but not least, let’s have fun at a great evening event. If you have visited TechEd and SDN day, you know that SAP professionals are a creative crowd and fun to be around.
