Earlier this year we decided to investiage examples of how NetWeaver is used by the Suite. We looked at the well-known items, such as BI content and portal packages, as well as looking at each application's master guides and required setup to see interesting usage of SAP's technology by the Suite.
As part of this, a decision was made to create a presentation for ASUG that would cover the joint value of SAP NetWeaver and the Business Suite. The presentation was extended to cover "SAP Technology", which means the combined offering of SAP NetWeaver and SAP Business Objects. The presentation was delivered by the head of our Business Suite Solution Management, Richard Campione, and the head of our NetWeaver Solution Management Rollout, Elvira Wallis.
Richard and Elvira wanted the presentation to focus on how you can implement the Suite in pieces - so not the entire application, but for customers who are interested in more bite-sized pieces. I want to share the recorded presentation with you. It is very useful for architects and business process experts who are new to the Suite. It provides examples in the procurement area of implementing a piece of the SAP solution, covering how the technology enables the Suite delivery. Demos for spend management, and a demo extendeding central sourcing are included.
