Inspired by the commitment SAP has made to improve operations to become more sustainable, we are focusing the SAP Community Network call for proposals for SAP TechEd 2009 on sustainability and green IT. This call for proposals is open to all SDN, BPX community, and SAP BusinessObjects community members who have found ways to help make their companies more sustainable using SAP technology.

We want you to share the practices you’ve created using visualization technology, implementing green IT, optimizing your landscape, reducing consumption of resources, writing greener code, etc., to move towards a more sustainable business model. For inspiration, check out the sustainability and green IT sessions (link goes only to Phoenix) already approved for SAP TechEd 2009.

The deadline to submit your proposal focused on sustainability or green IT for SAP TechEd 2009 Phoenix, Vienna, or Bangalore is Friday, July 31, 2009.
