We conducted a performance test using SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1 Enhancement Package 1 (EHP 1) for showing what improvements you can achieve when making use of the new performance relevant features like the advanced adapter engine, message packaging, and additional configuration options for orchestrated integration processes using the business process engine. If throughput is more important, the test results showed that you can process 23.57 MB per second, or a calculated daily throughput of more than 1,988 GB.
