Access Xcelsius and other Flash content by updating to the lastest CR Runtime and .Net Viewer with SAP Business One

 A number of people have noted that the current version of the .Net viewer and Crystal Reports runtime that were available to use with SAP Business One did not have the ability to render Flash content.

 So when launching a report containing Flash content from Xcelsius or any other Flash content from inside SAP Business One, this content would appear “greyed out” in the report.

 I am pleased to tell you that this has been addressed with the latest SP1 release of the Crystal Reports Runtime and .Net Viewer.

To download this new version of the runtime, please access the latest version from the SAP BusinessObjects download area on the SDN.

 For any existing deployments, we recommend that you uninstall the current Crystal Reports Runtime and install the latest release. For new deployments just install the newest runtime along with the SAP Business One Add-On.

Also ensure that if you are running the Crystal Reports Designer on a workstation that has the newest runtime that you also apply the latest Crystal Reports Service Pack (SP1) to that as well to ensure you do not encounter any errors.
