A number of people have noted that the current version of the .Net viewer and Crystal Reports runtime that were available to use with SAP Business One did not have the ability to render Flash content.

So when launching a report containing Flash content from Xcelsius or any other Flash content from inside SAP Business One, this content would appear “greyed out” in the report.

I am pleased to tell you that this has been addressed with the latest SP1 release of the Crystal Reports Runtime and .Net Viewer.

To download this new version of the runtime, please access the latest version from the SAP BusinessObjects download area on the SDN.

To go directly to the Runtime download you can click here.

Also, I recommend you review this article from Blair Wheadon, the Product Manager for Crystal Reports which you can access here. The article talks about ensuring that you have the right versions of runtime together with the right version of the Crystal Reports Designer.

For any existing deployments, we recommend that you uninstall the current Crystal Reports Runtime and install the latest release. For new deployments just install the newest runtime along with the SAP Business One Add-On.

Also ensure that if you are running the Crystal Reports Designer on a workstation that has the newest runtime that you also apply the latest Crystal Reports Service Pack (SP1) to that as well to ensure you do not encounter any errors.

Blairs’s article linked to above discusses this in more detail.

Please remember that any technical support questions related to this should be posted on the SAP Business One Reporting and Printing forum and not via SAP Support.

I work for a SAP Business One Partner and have the Crystal running well with the new SP1 (Thank you) but can not find the Xcelsius license needed to run the flash content?  We are not BOBJ dealers at this point.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Thanks!
