Make the Most out of Your BPX Membership – 101 Resources on BPX.SAP.COM
After more than a year in my role as the person responsible for marketing the Business Process Expert community (BPX) I thought it a good time to assemble the Top BPX 101 Resources for you.
Whether you’ve been a BPX member for a long time or are considering membership now, there is a lot of good information that can assist you with your day-to-day work life (in addition to forums and wikis that enable direct peer-to-peer collaboration).
**** First of all, I invite you to check out the BPX resource page titled “Get the Most out of Your BPX Membership – Resources for Members and Advocates”
Here you can find a BPX overview PowerPoint, a solution brief, and a number of excellent BPX success stories (full disclosure, I produced them). You might be amazed to see what tangible business value customers have derived from their membership.
While we are at it: I’d love to write up your success story and publish it. Please contact me at Natascha.schuberth@sap.com if you are interested.
Here a quote from a customer & partner I received only last week:
“Especially for the custom development pieces of the SAP RPM solution, the forums and demo scenarios on BPX were invaluable.”
Miel Claessens, SAP PLM Consultant, Uphantis
*** Here a compilation of podcasts, webinars and blogs that address the BPX topic:
- Blog: The Evolution of a Business Process Expert (great account from a well-known author)
**** Yes, a book has already been written on the BPXer. To learn about the role of the Business Process Expert -straight from the horse’s mouth – read the book “Process First – The Evolution of the Business Process Expert“, which was written by the community for the community on a wiki (access your free PDF copy as a bonus of membership).
**** And, last but not least, the BPX Video: BPX Members Speak about the Benefits of Membership
There is so much more going on in the BPX community that I have to force myself to stop now before the blog gets unwieldy. Simple come and check it out yourself at http://bpx.sap.com.
If you want to become a BPX member, you can sign up here now. It happens to be free, and only takes a minute (we also don’t spam you, as you can sign up for multiple newsletters and otherwise we communicate on the community site).
And/or, join our next live community event in Palo Alto: SAP Inside Track on May 29th (if this is too far for you to travel, you can participate online. Also, the global TechEds are approaching fast).
