Hands-on mobile apps with “Ajax weaver” and Red Hat at SAPPHIRE

Remember our platform for drag-and-drop composition of mobile applications on top of web services and no-deployment execution on smart phones browsers?  (Hint: If not, see some past blogs at bottom, and the wiki pages on the recent Beta trial with 9 partners – 8 consulting companies and 1 large biotech).

As the next step in “Ajax weaver” prove-in journey, came the opportunity and the challenge proposed by Red Hat: show us how well this platform runs on top of Linux and how truly supportive you are of open-source technologies!   What they have in mind is for their booth visitors to build their own productivity apps on the fly.

See how we raise to the challenge

Well, you may come and see for yourself at the Red Hat booth at SAPPHIRE in Orlando.  See some apps developed by our beta trial partners.  Try “Ajax weaver,” the Ajax composition platform proposed by SAP Research.  Compose and run applications in minutes on your own smart phone.  Test-drive the latest research prototypes.  Interact with the lead technologist behind “Ajax weaver” right on the booth, and let him know how good smart phone apps look to you.
