SAP Forum Brazil is dedicated to customers, partners and prospective customers in all industry segments. Part of the SAP World Tour and SAP TechTour series of events, SAP Forum has attracted this year over 7,600 attendees during the three event days.

Brazil is the world's 11th largest economy, and is growing fast. SAP Brazil also is a growing subsidiary, with a continued expansion of customer implementations last year, and a developing partner ecosystem.

The theme of this year edition was "Sustainability and Business - A Value Chain".  The first day included keynotes from the Former Minister of Development - Luis Furlan, Zia Yusuf - SVP, SAP Global Ecosystem and Partner Group, and Mark Yolton, SVP, SAP Community Network.

The SAP Netweaver Developer Day Brazil - Sucess demonstrated the fun side of SAP Brazil events, featuring a developer "talent show".  Four attendees braved the stage in front of their peers and performed different talents for a prize.  The winner sang a traditional Brazilian song but with lyrics about being a programmer - it had the audience in stitches and with loud applause.

On day 2 and 3, breakout sessions were held in 10 event rooms.  To veiw the 130 breakout sessions, which focused on industries, applications and technology platforms. 

Marcos Kanegae, IT Manager at Bahia Pulp commented "At SAP Forum, you can see more every year. It is a great opportunity to meet again friends and network with peers. But moreover, the topics presented make the Forum such a great event."

40 partners sponsored the event including, CPM Braxis, Accenture, Bearing Point, Sonda Procwork, Delloite, Neoris, Atos Origin, Siemens, Edinfor, HP-Intel, and IDS Scheer.

Andre Paes, Alliances Director at partner company Probank, mentioned: "It is the first time we participate at SAP Forum, and I am surprised by the great number of customers, partners and SAP representatives attending. The quality of the discussions and presentations was very high. Next year, we want to participate in a much stronger way as a partner to the Forum."

Largely covered in the media, with over 35 journalists attending The sessions and activities were covered in an extensive number of press releases and interviews.
