From June 7 to June 11, the global Higher Education and Research User Group (HERUG) meeting will take place at the University of Toronto, Canada.
HERUG conferences have been held at different locations each year since 1997 with attendees from Universities around the globe who are active/productive SAP users. Participants use to present their projects’successes and challenges and share implementation strategies and solution approaches with each other.
The theme for HERUG 2009 will be “Sharing the Value”. It shall provide universities and research institutions the opportunity to present and discuss, how they have used SAP and related technologies to support their academic and research missions. Two and a half days will be devoted to presentations and discussions by the user community and by SAP. Presentations which are planned until now include:
– The Do’s and Don’ts of Installing Enhancement Packs
– SAP for University Advancement
– Research Cost Transfers
– Re-Alignment of Business Process within the SAP Environment
– Future Directions with SAP
In addition, at this year’s conference, a full day of workshops will be offered to provide a more detailed look into specific new technology topics.
