I am Manju Venkataseshan, a volunteer with America's SAP Users Group. In my first SCN blog, I would like to share an opportunity for ASUG members to attend a webcast about "Netweaver Mobile - Overview and Architecture". We are planning to have 3 Part Webcast series. This is the first part in the webcast series. Jim and I were discussing about the webcast ideas since last several months. After coming back from ASUG volunteer meeting in Philadelphia late January 2009, Jim Spath (an SAP Mentor, an ASUG volunteer) introduced me to Stefan Wawrzinek,  a Product Manager in SAP Netweaver Solution Management, SAP AG. I had emailed him regarding the webcast idea. We were hoping to have one webcast, but Stefan graciously proposed 3 different topics and all are very interesting topics related to Mobile. I will share the remaining topics in my next blog.

Please join us in this "NetWeaver Mobile - Overview and Architecture" webcast on 24th April 2009 from 11AM - 12PM US EST. Please click on below link to register for the event.

The first part of the Webcast series is suitable for Mobile beginners as well as for experienced Mobile Infrastructure experts who want to get an overview on the new architecture.

This Webcast will describe how data is staged, retrieved, distributed and how the mobile client interacts with the server. You will also see several demos with a simple Mobile application in action.
