SAP InsideTrack London was graciously hosted by IBM London. I'm not sure how many people they thought would turn up but they allocated 4 rooms. Awesome!
More awesome still was IBM's Websphere sMash explanation and demo. Sitting in the back I could almost hear the sharp intake of breath when the IM'ers explained what sMash can do. In some scenarios it could be a sensible alternative to Visual Composer for add=on applications. I heard one Mentor saying: "I need to evaluate this urgently."
This IS impressive fast track dev stuff from which the SAP community could genuinely benefit. Check out the video and check out the ProjectZero web site. Bags of geeky goodies.
As an aside, it was gratifying to meet Zoe Slattery. A 21+ year IBM vet, Zoe wanted to understand what SAP is about. I hope I managed to convey that in an understandable fashion.
