I think the most interesting in SCN are the blogs and every year we can see hundreds of them, some interesting, funny, encouraging and so on….

In the last few years we have seen many blogs being recognized as “The best blogs of the year” on The specified item was not found. and Top 10 Best Blogs of 2008.

After posting Marcelo Ramos’s best blogs from January’09. here is my personal list with the best blogs of February 2009.

Some bloggers are posting for the first time, for example Uwe Fetzer that did a great job about ABAP twitter client on his blog A story about Twitter, XML and WD4A.

The other who is doing a great job writing excellent Blogs about Adobe Flex development is Mogens Enevoldsen, on your fourth blog he wrote about SAP Flash Island at SAP Flash Island and Google Maps.

Also Ted Ueda has been doing a great job writing good blogs related with Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Objects like:

Crystal Reports for Eclipse Version 2 – Programmatically Create Reports off of XML or Web Services Data Sources

POJO and RSS Feed Reporting with Web Intelligence Using the Data Access Driver Development Kit

BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK  – XI 3.x Path Queries and Query Builder

We have also some special  blogs like Implementing and Configuring SAP MII – The Book, where https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/pub/u/251690412 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] talk about the book Implementing and Configuring SAP MII that he is wrote with Dipankar and is available for pre-order from the SAP Press website.

I can’t miss this one Celebrating success: Anne Petteroe aka @yojibee where Dennis Howlett tell us about the SAP Mentor Anne Petteroe aka yojibee who created the People Against the News Terms of Service (TOS) Facebook Group.

And last but not least, Marilyn Pratt tell us on her last blog Balance a bit of humanitarian work and SAP community

Congratulations to all Bloggers, I am looking forward to see more of their blogs !

In March I hope to see the best blogs ever.

Thanks for highlighting these Marcelo.  Gives folks an additonal chance to catch up on interesting content they may have missed. As Somnath mentioned to BPX editor Audrey Stevenson (nee Weinland) in her blog about the featured BPX blogs of 2008, this would make great wiki contents in the community space.  Very kind of you to include me in your list.

    Hi,

As the number of blogs is sheerly growing (there has been times when you had days without any blog !), that would be really cool to have the Top Blogs (as you have Top Contributors, Top Companies).
I don’t think you can rate blogs anymore (though I think we had this feature in SDN some time ago… ?), but the “Top n Most Visited Blogs in the last xx days / any tyme” could be fun (note that I am not saying that the best blogs are the most visited and vice versa).

    Best regards,
    Guillaume

Thanks Marcelo for taking time to compile this list together. Given the sheer number of blogs that get posted everyday, a list like this really gives a chance to revisit informative content that one might have missed.

Finally, appreciate you putting my blogs on your list.

    Thanks,
    Ranjan
