From April 20th to 22nd, the SAP Co-Innovation Lab (COIL) is hosting the third SAP Virtualization Week in Palo Alto, California, while also making the event accessible via live broadcast.
In 25 sessions, speakers from customers, partners and SAP will talk about their experience with SAP in virtual environments. You will learn about virtualization strategies, solutions and how SAP uses virtualization in their own data centers.
A panel discussion will feature five Silicon Valley CTOs from VMware, Citrix, Sun, Microsoft and Virtual Computer.

Further Adventures in Virtualized SAP Operations: Fully Automating Provisioning and Operations

T-Systems is one of SAP's largest customers, as well as one of the largest Global Service Providers for Hosting, delivering SAP hosting services for over 1.1 million SAP users. As a leader in the virtualized and automated delivery of SAP with its Dynamic Services platform, T-Systems supports over 160,000 SAP users with this unique, integrated, multi-tenancy platform from multiple data centers across the globe.
The session will be broken into three parts:
- An overview of the virtualized Dynamic Services Platform focusing on key strategic business, technology and design decisions for virtualizing SAP.
- Automated provisioning, operations and workflow using automation tools and techniques focusing on recent advances in our Dynamic Services platform over the past year.
- T-Systems' assessment of the "State of the Industry" regarding virtualized and automated delivery of SAP including recommendations for customers and partners who are looking beyond basic virtualization to automation provisioning and operations based on T-Systems' experiences to-date.
