  • Dear Muthu
Could you please try to elaborate a bit on the strategy from SAP side with regards to Performance Mangement products and technologies. Users and developers would prefer to have one tool to learn, so what should we look in to now? Or down to the core: is the technology behind SCPM the future or is it SSM?

    With Kind Regards
    Kristian Appel

    • Hi Kristian

SCPM is an application (not tool) built on top of SAP Netweaver BW, focused on taking care of the needs of supply chain performance, as explained in the blog. SCPM leverages SAP Netweaver BW as the backend as their technology platform.
SAP’s performance management products has varied best of breed capabilities and encompasses Strategy Management, Planning, Consolidations, Profitiability and Cost Management,Spend Analytics. Please refer to the statement of direction as posted in the link

SSM 7.0 also leverages SAP netweaver as their technology.

      Hope the above helps
