New BOC Newsletter Wiki - Share your content ideas

Hi all, I work on the Developer Marketing team at SAP Business Objects and one of my main responsibilities is gathering content, creating, and deploying this newsletter to our community members every month.

If you are a Crystal Reports developer, or integrate, deploy or design with Business Objects BI solutions, then you should be subscribed to our monthly technical newsletter, the 'SAP BusinessObjects community newsletter'. To get a sense of what you will receive monthly, take a look at our newsletter archive page.

Since 2006, we have been providing our subscribers valuable resources for Crystal Reports, Crystal Reports Server, BusinessObjects Enterprise, and Xcelsius including:

  • Technical webinars
  • Free Trial downloads
  • Free product downloads
  • White papers
  • Technical docs
  • Code samples
  • Report samples
  • Dashboards
  • Our own Developer Blogs
  • 3rd party user articles
  • Product offers and announcements
  • Event info
  • Knowledge base articles

The newsletter concentrates on giving the user .NET and Java themed articles to ensure we cover the development envrionments our products use.

As you can see by the length of the newsletters, we have a lot of internal content each month waiting to get in the hands of our users. However, our roughly 200,000 monthly readers have never had a voice on what they would like to see in upcoming editions. To solve this issue and make the newsletter a more interactive expereince, I have created a Wiki that will give you a place to voice the kind of content you would like us to bring you in the future. Try and break down your content request by product or development environment, and if it isn't already created somewhere, we will try our best to get it in a blog, webinar, article, whitepaper, Kbase, etc.  For those already subscribed to DeveloperLink, take a look at the Wiki and be sure to contribute relevent technical content requests you haven't seen in past editions. For those new to DeveloperLink, take a look through our archive and upcoming editions to get a sense of what we currently offer.

I look forward to your feedback.
