As I stated in previous blogs, I really get a buzz out of meeting SCN’s top contributors, mentors, and active bloggers in person. Prolific in their output. Clear and honest in their thought, these guys exude passion for their work and communicate this enthusiasm with an earnest voice (often lightened by irreverent humor) in efforts to further swell the collective pool of knowledge.
What’s more, they often have mercurial minds that spark energy like a metaphoric van der graaf. It’s exciting to interact with this type of BPXer and SDNer, as the conversation is rarely dull and generally leads to lively debate and healthy argument.
In Berlin, I was lucky to staff the Community Clubhouse and had many remarkable discussions. I always learn a lot, e.g. Oliver Kohl (who was celebrating his birthday with us) spoke to me about how to best leverage Twitter, and Dennis Howlett is becoming a fan of viral marketing
