In october 24th, occured the 1st Information Technology Week where were presented several subjects to the teachers and students in an university of Marilia called UNIVEM.
A few facts
Marilia is a city located in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. Marilia is known in Brazil as National Food Capital, due to several food and soft drink industries like Coca Cola, Nestlé, Marilian, and Dori.
Also there is a lot of universities, like UNIVEM, Unimar, FAMEMA, and Unesp, which have attracted students from different parts of Brazil.
Goals and Objectives
Though there are several important industries located in Marilia, most of them does not use SAP system. So Bruno Ambrózio, Eduardo De Angeli, and myself thought that could be a good oportunity to present SAP plataform and technologies.
We were pleased to be invited to close this very important week talking about SAP. We explained the SAP NetWeaver framework, presented solutions using Web Dynpro, Visual Composer, and SAP Mobile for about a hour and a half.
Bruno started the presentation talking about SAP company, followed by me where I talked about SAP NetWeaver Plataform, SAP Business Process Plataform, and SAP NetWeaver technologies. After that I started talking about a subject that I’m very keen on: Enterprise SOA.
So Eduardo came to present a hands on presentation. He explained Web Dynpro and Visual Composer techonologies and did a real sample creating a simple application consuming a Web Service published in his own SAP Web Application Server installation.
Bruno came back to present the SAP Mobile technologies, and in the end, he also talked about what to do in order the get into SAP market.
More than a hundred people located in the auditorium applaused. We are conviced that it is another way to contribute to community, beyond SDN. Off course we presented SDN and encouraged all to create an account to study and contibute.

The bottom line is simple:

Thanks to all that have contributed, specially Teachers Paulo Nardi and Elvis Fusco, and UNIVEM university for the greate oportunity.
