  • SOA106: SAP and Microsoft: Interoperability and Beyond (Berlin)
    Many SAP customers rely on Microsoft platforms and applications in one way or another, which is why SAP has a long term commitment ensuring interoperability with Microsoft technologies. In this session you will get an overview about the interoperability between SAP and Microsoft and you will be introduced to the latest developments in this area. In addition you will get informed about the impact of new technologies such as Microsoft Silverlight and how they fit into SAP's strategy. This session offers you the unique opportunity of getting a holistic overview on topics related to SAP and Microsoft.

 

  • SOA262: How to Build .Net-Based Composite Applications Leveraging SAP's SOA (Berlin)
    SAP's holistic implementation of their service-oriented architecture (SOA) offers some new opportunities for developers to build SAP composite applications leveraging SAP's SOA from within the .NET framework. .NET developers can now use SAP's enterprise services using the new SAP Enterprise Services Explorer for Microsoft .NET. In this session we will introduce you to this new add-in for Microsoft Visual Studio and show you how to discover and consume SAP Enterprise Services.   • UP265: Interoperability Between SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search and Microsoft Enterprise Search (Berlin)
    In modern global enterprises access to the right information at the right time is the key to success. To support the business information workers within your company and to leverage business network transformation, a powerful and holistic search mechanism is required. In this session you will learn how to use different search engines through only one UI. More specifically, this session will show you how to use results from Microsoft Enterprise Search from within SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search and vice versa, based on Open Search. You will learn how to mix the results to provide a consistent set of results to the end user. Moreover, we will show how these federated Enterprise Search scenarios can be combined with the results of Windows Desktop Search.

 

  • SIM208: SSO for SAP NetWeaver Leveraging X.509 Certificate Auto Enrollment in Microsoft Active Directory (Berlin)
    Automatic enrollment of user certificates using Microsoft Active Directory provides a quick and simple way to issue X.509 certificates to users and to enable single sign-on using a public key infrastructure (PKI).User auto-enrollment minimizes the high cost of normal PKI deployments and reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO) by providing SSO for an SAP NetWeaver system landscape leveraging the resources of an existing Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.

  • SOA216: Providing and Consuming Services with SAP NetWeaver and .NET Applications (Berlin)
