I posted 2 blogs yesterday (Monday), one about the Clue Train ride on Sunday, and the other about the majority of Community Day.  While I was riting the latter took pictures of more networking, and then did more networking at the evening event.  Here are a few random thoughts. pictures and words from the last part of Community Day

I backed up media to Gali’s computer, including movie clips; coincidentally she also runs VLC media player (free software).  I also met other SCN team members,  including Adi Kleiman, Brian Bernard, and (I forget!).

Business cards collected on Monday:

  • Tom Raftery
  • Robert Baumann – attended the Environmental Impacts of Supply Chain
  • Mik Pokraka – “SAP Mentor 2009”
  • Mark Scavillo – Head of Process Governance
  • Owen Pettiford – CompriseIT (SAP Mentor?)
  • James Barron – Oz, working at Xau.com
  • Hans Senden – twitter bud  – accenture – country code +31
  • Alexandre Tran – www.oami.europa.eu
  • Lee Provost  – working on social media at CapGemini; almost worked for Craig
  • Dr. Darren Hague (SAP Mentor)
  • Anne Katherine Petter[o]e
  • Dr. Carsten Brennecke – working on Docupedia
  • Gregor Wolf

Craig said he’d never seen so many “technical difficulties” in a short time.  Besides problems getting laptops to synch with the projectors, his Mac would not power up.  It’s tough when machines don’t behave.  Craig recommended using getadropbox.com – 2GB free online backup folder, multiple computer synch.

I turned the tables on Brian somewhat and asked him a couple questions.  Here’s the audio, with a static video shot to get it onto YouTube:

Brian’s challenge to me:

What can be done about the static areas of SCN?

(OK, I’m heading for coffee donuts and keynotes).
