The SAP Banking Congress is a mixture of networking, new software features, customer success stories, and user group activities. Although this event is German based, some of the contributions and participants point to interactions with non-German Banking market and give this event a bit of international flavor. The event took place in Frankfurt, September 28-29, 2008. The actual FS crisis was one of the focuses, evident from the viewpoint of globalization and international connectivity of the banking world. The other main topic pointed to new business scenarios driven by the change in behavior of today's banking customers. Led by consumption of IT and software capabilities, mobility and flexibility, internationalization and globalization, and people's personnel life cycle planning targets, business between banks and their customers will change.
Presentations about implementations, customer successes, and features/functions together with a large exhibition with SAP Banking partners demonstrated a excellent working Eco environment. Networking, building new business relations, and sync on existing collaboration scenarios are the value drivers of this event.
