We (Ronald Kleijn and myself) will be hosting two sessions about using Open Source on SAP NetWeaver at the TechEd 2008 Berlin.

The first is about an innovative use of an Open Source CMS / ECM (Enterprise Content Management) system on SAP NetWeaver 7.0. We created an integration between the two worlds. The Open Source CMS can now make use of the UME (User Management Engine) for authorization and authentication. An advantage for system administrators; we integrated the Log4J logging framework used by many open source products with the SAP Logging framework, which allows you to use the standard SAP tools to configure logging and to keep track of errors, warnings, etc. If you want to know more, attend the SDN session UP220 on tuesday from 12:15 to 13:15.

The other session will be a short one (6 minutes) We will compete in the Demo Jam on tuesday evening. We will be using an Open Source framework to move the iViews in the SAP Portal like iGoogle and more...

Don't miss the Demo Jam.
